The next screen asks them to check their speaker and microphone for problems, and offers an opportunity to get familiar with how the software records and plays back their answers.

The last screen before the test begins, presents a sample question and answer. During these first three screens, the timers and buttons that will occur in the test are introduced. The applicant is now ready to begin by pressing the READY button.

| The first three sections are identical; they each offer four questions for the participant to choose to answer. The last one they listen to is noted with a border as their selection. They must listen to at least one question before they can record an answer. They must record an answer to go to the next section. |

Section 4 and 5 offer no options. Instead,questions are selected at random by a software algorithm, so successive applicants are not given the same questions. Section 4 is a message in English that is to be reported in the Target language. Section 5 is a message in the Target language that is to be reported in English.
After the test is completed, files are uploaded to our secure server and once the test is evaluated, the results are available to you on the Web.
